Comfortable lodging in a scenic setting.
Wilderness Edge sits in a semi-alpine valley amid fir trees, aspen stands, sage and wild flowers. A small, spring-fed creek flows through the property and empties into the pristine waters of Cliff Lake (below). A private road connects Wilderness Edge to this jewel of a mountain lake. This beautiful, un-crowded lake provides our guests with opportunities for fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and wildlife viewing. Conservation easements and national forests border the Wilderness Edge on all sides.
Ever since small fisherman cabins were constructed in the 1930’s on the old Neely Ranch, stewards of this property have catered to guests from all over the USA and the world. That tradition continues today. Our mission is to provide our guests with clean, comfortable lodging in a scenic setting. The end-of-the-road solitude you will find at Wilderness Edge complements our accommodations that range from small, rustic cabins to larger log lodges with modern amenities. Our guest profile usually includes:
• Visitors to Yellowstone National Park who find Wilderness Edge a welcome refuge from the crowds of tourists that frequent this national treasure.
• Fly fishing enthusiasts seeking the ultimate experience in nearby famous watersheds that include the Madison River, Henry’s Lake, Henry’s Fork, and various Yellowstone Park rivers and streams.
• Those participating in any special gathering of friends and family. We specialize in catering to large group functions such as family reunions, weddings and get-togethers of friends and business associates.
